There are a couple of heart shaped islands in the world but one of the best known ones is the island of Galešnjak (pronounced Galeshnyak) that can be found of the shores of the Croatian coast. More precisely, it can be found in the Pašman Channel (pronounced Pashman) near the historical town of Zadar that is included in many of small ship cruises in Croatia.

At one point, you can see the river in a 200 m deep karstic canyon, you can bath in the river or just walk around. The National Park can be reached via land or on a boat cruising against the river current all the way inland.
GOT TripBut if you prefer to stay at the seaside – Kornati National Park is the right choice. This is a group of 89 islands and inlets.
