Slovenia is a tiny country nested in the most strategical position in a heart of Europe. You can easily combine it with many other western countries and the rest of the Balkans. On the west it borders Italy – Venice is only 100 miles (160 km) from Slovenia, while the north continues to Austria – another European giant Vienna is 150 miles (240 km) from the border.
In Italy Milano is 250 miles (400 km) away from Slovenia, Shakespeare’s Verona is within 155 miles (250 km). The Austrian Alps are on the other hand, just across the border – we can even organize you a dinner in all three countries – entrée in Slovenia, first dish in Italy, second dish in Austria and a dessert again in Slovenia.
